eSIM installation guide
Install your Simkoa travel eSIM using a QR code, manual activation, or direct install link from your order.
Before you start
- β Strong WiFi or mobile data connection
- β eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked device
- β QR code or manual activation details from your order

π iPhone β QR code
- Open the QR code from your Simkoa order email or dashboard.
- On iPhone: Settings β Cellular β Add eSIM β Use QR Code.
- Or open the Camera app, scan the QR code, and tap Mobile Plan.
- iOS 17+: screenshot the QR, then Add eSIM β Open Photos and select the screenshot.
- Wait up to 10 minutes for the profile to download, then tap Done.
- Label the plan (e.g. βTravel Dataβ) and set Mobile Data to the new eSIM when abroad.
- Enable Data Roaming on the travel eSIM line.
π iPhone β manual install
- Settings β Cellular β Add eSIM β Use QR Code β Enter Details Manually.
- Enter the SM-DP+ address from your order page.
- Enter the Activation Code from your order page.
- Tap Next and wait up to 10 minutes for installation.
- Enable the eSIM line and Data Roaming when you arrive.
π€ Android β QR code
- Open the QR code from your Simkoa order email or dashboard.
- Settings β Connections β SIM manager β Add eSIM (path may vary by brand).
- Or scan with Camera and tap Add plan to phone.
- Tap Add and wait up to 10 minutes for activation.
- Turn on the new eSIM line and set it as mobile data.
- Enable Data roaming under Mobile networks.
π€ Android β manual install
- Settings β Connections β SIM manager β Add eSIM.
- Select Enter activation code β Enter manually.
- Enter the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your order.
- Complete setup and enable the eSIM line when traveling.
